On May 29, SJUSD and SEPAC hosted the “Growing Beyond Limits” celebration, honoring 50+ students for their resilience and growth.

On June 4, families gathered at SJHS to celebrate students who are “aging out” from the CBI program. Teachers gave words of encouragement to these students who have learned job and life skills and will be positive influences in our community!

SJHS celebrated the Class of 2025 at the June 2 Senior Awards Assembly, recognizing students for academic, athletic, and personal achievements. Congratulations to all honorees and the entire Class of 2025 for their hard work and dedication!

SJUSD Nutrition Services Department is pleased to announce “Summer Meals for Kids,” which offers FREE breakfast and lunch to all children 18 and younger, is available through July 17!

Service days are Monday-Thursday (except June 19, June 26 and July 3).

MVMS teacher Jacob Mathis has been named a Science Finalist for the 2025 Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching highlighting his outstanding contributions to science education in SJUSD!

San Jacinto High Wood Tech students showcased advanced furniture projects at the May 3 Riverside Industrial Ed Expo.

On May 19, SJUSD's Title VI Program & Native Parent Advisory Council honored our Native American graduating seniors at a special Stole Ceremony & Dinner. Each student received a cultural stole to wear at graduation, a powerful symbol of heritage and achievement.

SJUSD Students Shine at Hemet/San Jacinto “Night of the Stars” Scholarship Dinner on May 15. These students represent excellence, resilience and the future of our community. We are incredibly proud of each of you!

On May 16, 2025 Riverside County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Edwin Gomez made the surprise announcement that Edward Hyatt World Language Academy State Preschool Teacher Anthony Segura, has been named a 2026 County Teacher of the Year!

San Jacinto Unified honored its Employees of the Year on May 13 with two events: the RCOE Celebrating Educators Luncheon and the district’s Excellence in Education Reception.
